قيلت فيه وفي أمه الخيزران الأقاويل والحكايات ، وكانت قصته مع البرامكة وانتقامه منهم بقتلهم وتشريدهم من أكثر قصص التاريخ إيحاءً للمؤلفين والكتاب فؤلفت فيه الكتب وحوله المنتجون الي مسلسلات تفيزيونية .
واليوم تقدم مكتبة عسكر أحد هذه الكتب وهو بعنوان " هارون الرشيد الخليفة المظلوم " نتمني أن ينال إعجابكم .
